The Easter Jeep Safari brings together five generations of the Parson family in "My Jeep Story"

The mighty Moab is one of the most beautiful places in all of Utah, and for the past 50 years it has played host to the annual Easter Jeep Safari, a gathering of off-roading enthusiasts from all around the globe. But while many come to challenge themselves on some of the toughest trails in the off-roading world, the Safari isn't just for the rough and rugged. In fact, as DeVon Parson shows us in this week's "My Jeep Story", it's the perfect family event.

DeVon has been riding the trails of Moab with his wife since 1975. This year, they caravanned out to Moab with five generations of their family. For DeVon and his family, the Safari isn't about challenging themselves or pushing the limits of their vehicles. They enjoy Moab and the Safari for its natural beauty and the opportunity it provides to get together with family. That's not to say that they don't put their vehicles through the paces though, as both DeVon and his wife are trail leaders at the Safari, helping others to see Moab as they do every year!

For the Parson family, hopping in their Jeep vehicles and hitting the trails together is the very essence of what makes the Easter Jeep Safari so great.
