We spent many cold months waiting for the spring release of the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. Fortunately, the wait is finally over and we have the highly coveted -- not your mother's minivan -- Pacifica available in our showroom. While the newly released model is already packed to the brim with well-appointed, tech-savvy amenities, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is ready to take the minivans tech-savvy reputation to the next level.

Earlier this month, Google announced that it would expand its testing of autonomous vehicles by integrating its self-driving software and sensors into a fleet of Chrysler Pacifica minivans. According to Bloomberg: "The accord marks Google’s first agreement to work directly with an automaker to integrate its self-driving system since the technology giant began developing autonomously operated cars on its own in 2014. Fiat Chrysler Chairman John Elkann said last month that the auto industry should work with “new industry participants” like Google and Apple Inc. rather than trying to compete with them."

The testing is expected to start later this year and will not be available to the consumer market. To inquire about availability of the current 2017 Chrysler Pacifica model, contact our showroom by calling 888-706-9008 to schedule a test drive.
